Day 17: I am starting to lose track of what day it is when I write these things… maybe I shouldn’t have started counting. Oh, well what’s done is done by now. Anyways it has almost been a full 3 weeks since starting on this fitness journey (again) and I am honestly feeling better than ever. For the beginning of our half marathon/marathon training plan we have been doing the Beachbody 21 Day Fix workouts and I have followed this program before and let me tell you it is worth the money I love this program. It is really all about dialing in your nutrition to support your workouts.
I have kept off a solid 7lbs since we started this journey and I can honestly say that my ability to have a good workout has improved, my clothes fit better, and I am starting to feel like the old me again. I will admit that on cheat day this past weekend I totally ate a package of those Little Debbie Chocolate Donuts and I was filled with almost immediate regret — not because I felt guilty, but because I wasted those calories because they weren’t even as tasty as I remember.
For my long run this past weekend I was supposed to run 4 miles, but I was feeling so incredible that I went ahead and ran 5 because why not? I think that this is really something that marks improvement and accomplishment of my goals — the AOII in me wants to say that I am “always exceeding the expectations” but for real I AM!
Okay, I think I am going to stop here because I really feel like I am just rambling and you guys are probably tired of reading my nonsense.
Catch you after the next 5K,
