Hey there! It’s been awhile since I last wrote, sorry about that guys. I swear I’ll be better! Today I want to give just a few packing tips for a weekend getaway. I thought it would be fitting since I actually am going to be gone this weekend. So, without further ado, here are three easy packing tips for a weekend trip:
- Do not overpack! // This seriously cannot be stressed enough. We’ve all done it and more than once, I might add. A vital component of not overpacking is bringing items you can wear more than once. Example: bring one pair of jeans to wear again. Two pairs are just a waste of space, and you probably won’t even wear them!
- Plan your outfits. // This is crucial to not overpacking. Hello, if you only bring what you need…you will not run out of space. Write down all the activities you’ll be doing and where you’ll be going. Planning outfits is a life saver.
- Pack in a smaller bag. // Using a smaller bag than you normally would is definitely going to minimize the number of extra things you do not need. This weekend, I’m using my Northface backpack in lieu of my chunky weekender bag. By using the backpack, it forces me to only bring what I need!
Those may seem like “well, duh!” but for real! You don’t realize how much you don’t follow these tips until you get to your destination and realize you could’ve done without half of the things you brought.
Pack smarter, not harder!
Until next time,
